The Bamboo Lizard was taken on a whim, the composition sparked my interest. Sometimes my best images are taken with out going crazy analyzing every aspect of the composition. I enjoy just walking with a camera and a lens, I take what ever nature gives me. It reminds me of a quote from another inspiration to me Ansel Adams,
I have found that when I have to labor over a composition I seldom achieve anything worthwhile. I except, of course, the minute refinements of distance and position, and the essential adjustments of image management. – Ansel Adams
All of our images are taken with professional equipment, pro D-SLR bodies and lenses. These camera bodies have sensors designed to maximize image quality and the lenses produce the sharpest images. We use these tools to produce RAW image files. RAW images are similar to negatives or positives (slides) from the days of film. RAW files give photographers the ability to create images based on their interpretation of the scene. Fusing our artistic interpretation and the natural beauty of the scene is how we create our works of art.
