Description
As icebergs calve (break from glacier) they gently flow through a lagoon to the ocean where they often become beached until they melt. In the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon this is the normal life of an iceberg.
All of our images are taken with professional equipment, pro D-SLR bodies and lenses. These cameras have sensors designed to maximize image quality and lenses that produce the sharpest images. We use these tools to produce RAW image files. RAW images are similar to negatives or positives (slides) from the days of film. RAW files give photographers the ability to create images based on their interpretation of the scene.
