Artist Proof Prints
Before the arrival of modern technology, artists would pull every tenth print from the press during printing and examine it personally for quality control. Since these prints had been handled by the artist and personally approved, they were called Artist Proof prints. Today, many artists still hold a special reserve of their print collections.
At Raw Photo Fusion, Artist Proof prints are reserved for each Photographer’s personal use and may be displayed in museums, gallery shows, special conservation events or sold to collectors on a limited basis. Separate from the Collector Edition, an additional 10% of each edition is printed as Artist Proof prints. These special prints are only available in select sizes and formats and are sold at a higher premium due to their restricted numbers. Artist Proof prints come with a signature card from the artist and a certificate of authenticity packaged in a leather-bound portfolio.
Many collectors prefer to collect only Artist Proof prints. Please contact our Customer Support Department at 720.980.3668 for more information about owning one of these special prints of your favorite image!

LIMITED EDITION IMAGES
Edition Numbers
Every image in Raw Photo Fusion is released in a limited number. The edition number refers to the total number of photographs that will be printed in addition to artist proofs. After all numbers of an edition are sold, that image will never again be printed as a photographic print, making your limited edition photograph a truly unique work of art.

Fuji crystal archive prints continue to be the finest professional quality fine art prints available in the industry today.
Fujicolor fine art prints feature the most vivid color reproduction, brilliant whites and distinct highlight details. These papers deliver beautiful prints, with excellent image stability, consistency and performance.
Fujiflex fine art prints offer the best archival qualities of any photographic material available. This supreme durability makes these prints a primary choice of museums throughout the world. Fujiflex is the finest available in terms of color, print permanence and surface. The smooth and reflective qualities of the paper make the fine art print appear almost three dimensional.
Matting and Framing
Our limited edition photographic prints are framed with the highest quality materials available. We use acid-free mats and fine quality wood frames. Our staff of professional framers bevel-cut the museum quality mats and cut a custom V-groove in the top mat. The hardwood frames include fine wood mouldings in an extensive array of stains and finishes. Every image is meticulously inspected to meet our exacting standards.
Mats and frames are selected to compliment each other. If, however, your personal taste and decor warrant specialized matting and framing, we will gladly accommodate you. Please contact Customer Support to get a description of mats and frames on a specific photograph, or to receive assistance to customize your photograph.
NatureView Glass
Raw Photo Fusion images capture the vibrant colors and subtle hues found in our natural world. We strive to present your image as clearly as possible. We use NatureView glass manufactured by TruVue to keep reflection from posing a problem in viewing your images. NatureView glass appears invisible and helps reduce reflected light.
Giclee Canvas | Click for a visual example.
A Giclee fine art print refers to the most sophisticated ink-jet technology. The name comes from the French word GICLEE (pronounced Zhee-Clay) that means “spray”. In this printing method, the canvas is carried by a spinning roller while infinitely small pixels of rich, vibrant inks are sprayed on it at a very high speed rendering an amazingly smooth and consistent image true to the original.
The Giclee is quickly becoming the new standard in the art industry, and is widely embraced for its astonishing quality by major museums, galleries, publishers and artists. The latest inks offer up to 70 years light-fastness and UV-resistance under museum archival conditions, yet for even better performance, we coat all our canvas giclee prints with a layer of anti-fading UV protective clear satin glaze.
Giclee canvas prints are not framed with glass.
Contemporary Museum Mount | Click for a visual example.
Our Museum Mount technique is a new way to display and present art work by offering a contemporary look. This is a specialized lamination process providing a smoothness that cannot be achieved with traditional mounting techniques.
The image is permanently adhered to a rigid sheet of clear acrylic that makes handling a large print much easier and significantly eliminates the possibility of damage, while also providing a new “wet” look that only this process can provide. Using the Museum Mount also offers deeper colors and a more three dimensional feel to the image because there is no longer an air barrier between the photograph and the acrylic protecting the print – with traditional framing, the air space between the glass and the print refracts light slightly, whereas this process does not. UV protection is included in the adhesive and the acrylic has UV absorption properties as well.
